A lovely dupondius of Hadrian

Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 29 mm, 14.64 g, 6 h), Rome, 119-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG P M TR P COS III Radiate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. AETERNITAS AVGVSTI / S - C Aeternitas standing front, head to left, holding bust of Sol in her right hand and bust of Luna in her left. BMC 1219. Cohen 134. RIC II, 3, 403. A beautiful coin with a very attractive olive green patina. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.

From an old Swiss collection, privately acquired from Leu Numismatik in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
